What Gater stores

Gater has no accounts and no backend database of users. Preferences (slippage, deadline, display) and a log of transactions you submitted are stored only in your browser's local storage. Wallet connection state is kept in a browser cookie so the app can reconnect.

What Gater never asks for

Seed phrases, recovery phrases, private keys or wallet passwords.

Third parties

BNB Smart Chain RPC providers receive your wallet address when balances are read.
GeckoTerminal is queried (through Gater's server) for price history of listed pools.
WalletConnect relays messages if you connect a mobile wallet with it.

Public blockchain

Transactions you sign are recorded publicly and permanently on BNB Smart Chain.
