What Gater is

Gater is a non-custodial interface for existing tokenized stock assets on BNB Smart Chain (chain ID 56). It reads balances and prices directly from the chain and routes trades through PancakeSwap. Gater is not the issuer of any listed asset.

How assets are verified

• Contract bytecode exists on chain ID 56.
• ERC-20 name, symbol, decimals and total supply are readable, and the on-chain symbol matches.
• The contract is an issuer-corroborated anchor, or shares that anchor's implementation, or has a manual issuer confirmation.
• Trading also requires a PancakeSwap pool with sufficient liquidity and successful buy and sell test quotes.

Anything that fails a check is shown as UNVERIFIED, CONFLICTING, NO LIQUIDITY or UNAVAILABLE, and cannot be traded.

Trading

Quotes come from on-chain router and quoter calls and expire after 30 seconds. Before you sign, Gater validates the chain, router, spender, amounts, slippage and deadline, and simulates the exact transaction. Approvals default to the exact amount; unlimited approval is only used if you tick it.
