What Gater protects today, and what it does not.

ACTIVEPublic BNB Smart Chain transaction. Your address, the assets, amounts and timing are publicly visible on-chain. Gater is non-custodial: you sign in your own wallet.
Private · RAILGUN
ACTIVETrades run inside the RAILGUN shielded pool and are submitted by a broadcaster, so your public address is not linked to the trade. Shielding into and unshielding out of the pool remain visible on-chain.

Architecture
All execution flows through a PrivacyProvider interface. PublicExecutionProvider is active. RailgunPrivateExecutionProvider implements preparePrivateExecution, generateProof and submitPrivateExecution using the RAILGUN shielded pool on BNB Smart Chain: zero-knowledge proofs are generated in your browser, and the trade is executed by RAILGUN's RelayAdapt contract and submitted by a broadcaster. It is enabled only when the operator configures it. Gater does not describe standard transactions as anonymous, hidden or untraceable.
